Despite it being the middle of the summer, Fall will be here before we know it! I put together three inspirational palettes that bring the elements of Fall into your home.
The items shown below are all from Crate & Barrel as I just fell in love with their Fall decor. However, you do not need to nor should you buy your decor from the same store. You want your home and decor to look organic not matchy matchy. I bet if you look at what you have in your home, you will find that you have some of the similar items from one of the palettes below. Then it is a matter of buying a few more pieces to add to your decor from your store of choice.
I love adding rich dark colors to Fall decor. When you think of Fall colors, blue may not come to mind but it blends so well with any white, gray, brown and black that may currently be in your home. Just by swapping out your pillows (or even just buying new pillow covers) and adding a candle in a blue container works!
Don't be afraid of brown! When decorating with brown, my tip is to use decor pieces in various textures, sheens and color variations. From glass vases, to pampas vase filler, to wood sculptures to velvet pillows, your home will feel like Fall without looking blah from al the brown elements.
If you are not a fan of color, but want some touches of Fall, add natural stoneware vases, marble accents and a cozy throw all in the same neutral color to your decor.
